Bollani in the Italian charts and on TV
Stefano Bollani’s dazzling “Piano Solo”
album is stirring up a great deal of attention everywhere.
In his homeland of Italy, however, there is a veritable whirlwind of activity extending far beyond jazz circles.
The recording has shot into the Italian pop charts, triggering a series of events on television. The first of these is a prime time appearance on Chetempochefà, the popular “cultural” talk show on channel 3 on October 14, followed by an interview and performance on La 7 channel on October 17. On October 24, a third television appearance, this time on MTV.
The happy coincidence of the publication of Bollani’s novel, “La Sindrome di Brontolo”, has intensified exposure on radio, too, as well as in newspapers and magazines.
