ECM 40 Years Website (German only)
Our distribution partners at Universal Music Classics and Jazz in Berlin have launched a special ECM 40 Years internet site in celebration of the label’s four decades of independent music production. German-language text content on the site includes a detailed year-by-year chronicle of ECM’s activities and releases, richly illustrated with photos and album covers, as well as videos of several artists at work (amongst them: Keith Jarrett, Charles Lloyd/Billy Higgins, Enrico Rava, Gidon Kremer, Stefano Bollani, Tomasz Stanko, Dino Saluzzi/Anja Lechner, Manu Katché, Gianluigui Trovesi, Cyminology, and Marilyn Mazur), and an ‘ECM radio’ button allows viewers to listen in to selected recordings. The site will be regularly updated in the weeks and months ahead, with news, competitions and more. (Right now, for instance, there is a chance to win tickets for the Jan Garbarek Group’s return to Dresden – also the location for Garbarek’s upcoming live album).
